Only Human: Photographs by Martin Parr

National Portrait Gallery, St. Martin's Place, London WC2H 0HE

Martin Parr’s brilliant collection of ‘people’ is a stunning exhibition of humans doing exactly what they do best, just ‘living’ featuring a wide collection of intriguing portraits of people from around the world that explores both national identity in the UK and abroad and a special focus on the concept of ‘Britishness’.

There’s even a real-life and working replica of a ‘Proper Old-School British café’ that you can sip a cuppa in factored into the exhibition!

There’s images the epitomise Brexit, sculpture, holidays, dancing,  celebrities, art & artists and even footballers, to name but a few, so probably something for everyone to ponder over and possibly connect with!

The exhibition also includes a collection of MPs self-portraits that were apparently created over the course of his career and even some works in the collection that have never been exhibited in the UK before.

One for London’s ‘must do this year list’ don’t miss it, on until 27th May 2019
