Portraits by Rankin - Royal Festival Hall
Belvedere Road, Lambeth, London SE1 8XX
Small but great little collaboration between iconic portrait and fashion photographer Rankin and the launch of an exclusive new Southbank jewellery collection ‘Let The Light In’ created to support raising funds for the restoration of their brutalist 1960s arts venues Hayward Gallery, Queen Elizabeth Hall and Purcell room.
This exhibition features lovely portraits of leading UK names from culture and the arts modelling a range of the jewellery in the photographs and all taken by the wonderful Rankin himself.
Some of the famous images featured in the exhibition include British icons such as Joanna Lumley, Marc Almond and Grayson Perry, who are all wearing pieces of the jewellery designed by acclaimed up-and-coming British jewellery designers.
“Light Up The Room: Portraits by Rankin in the Exhibition Space at Royal Festival Hall (Level 4 Blue Side) from 8 December - 23 December!
So you’d better hurry up and it’s free!
