Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House
Somerset House, Strand, London WC2R 1LA
This is what London is good at, open-air film festivals set within amazing and stunning locations across our wonderful capital city and this time was no different, the central courtyard of the beautiful Somerset House.
A gigantic screen with full on surround sound hosts a selection of film classics, as part of the 2016 summer season.
A DJ sets the scene before the movie starts at 9:00pm, theres a bar serving wine and beer all night! And food is available too, so you won’t come unstuck, just bring your own blanker and cushions (however you can hire them) and your all set to cosy down for a great night of movie watching under the stars.
Our movie was Jackie Brown (an all-star 1997 American crime thriller) written and directed by Quentin Tarantino) the perfect movie classic for the sell audience and die-hard Tarantino fans.
