The Jam: About the Young Idea
Cunard Building, The Strand, Liverpool, Merseyside, L3 1QB
If you like the Jam, you will LOVE this exhibition! An interactive exhibition charting the rise and influence of The Jam from start to finish.
House in the amazing Seafront Cunard Building, it was always going to be spectacular and it is, no stone left unturned with this exhibition, from its entrance through a London Underground Station (The Tube) to a mockup of a 70s house, Mopeds, Bomber Jackets, Fred Perry’s, Parkas and more Jam Single and Album covers than you could shake a t stick at.
Famous for their political and social impact this band was the voice of a generation and if your too old or too young to remember them, it doesn’t matter, the exhibition stands on its own merit and expertly captures an era long gone.
A travelling exhibition, apparently this is the last time it will be on view in the UK, so if you can get to see it, then it's not to be missed! A trip down memory lane for ALL ages.
