Heels of Glory - The Chelsea Theatre
7 World’s End Place, King's Road, London SW10 0DR
This fantastic glittery, camp, tongue in cheek production returns with a BANG! As part of the London pride festival and runs from Thursday to Sunday, 9-26 June 2016.
If you want an evening of frivolity and song, man make-up and drag then you won’t be disappointed! Chock full of camp songs (with very catchy hooks) one-liners, killer heels (of course) and wigs that would make the wags jealous then this is definitely the show for you!
Splendorella and the rest of the gang are waiting to welcome you on board and you may even find out Splendorella’s BIG secret is!
There’s was a front row VIP cabaret table (if you dare) provided for the most fabulously dressed.
Originally performed at the Central School of Speech and Drama, the Royal Vauxhall Tavern and at the Albany, Heels is a very well-heeled production! Not a massive budget but they definitely make the most of what they had! It was all about the cast and they were all spot on!
All in all a great bit of drag fun and not just for queens, everyone can enjoy it but BEWARE! You will be dragged onto the stage at the end to disco dance to the very catchy ‘Don’t let them put you down’ hilarious! We loved it!
