The Broad - Los Angeles
221 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012, United States
Book your tickets in advance on-line or be prepared to wait in line for a LONG time!. The Broad is a fabulous new contemporary art museum in the heart of Los Angeles, named after philanthropist Eli Broad, which only opened on September 20, 2015
The Broad houses collections of contemporary art, including works by Cindy Sherman, Jeff Koons, Andy Warhol, Roy Liechtenstein and many more. If you like contemporary art you will NOT be disappointed. Some of the more notable installations include Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirrored Room (take a ticket and come back as only two people allowed in at one time!) and Julie Mehretu’s 24-feet-wide canvas Beloved (Cairo) (2013).
The building is like a work of art itself, its stunning facia and contemporary design feels perfect for what’s housed inside.
We both LOVE this place, its ubercool and ultra-modern and you could easily spend hours and hours in here. A must when in LA.
Fabulous (we loved it) +++
