London - Bao Borough

13 Stoney Street, Borough Market, London SE1 9AD

Part of a growing London Bao dynasty, this little cutie is another feather in the hat and equally as wonderful as all of its other brother and sister sites.

Serving a wonderful array of their tasty signature bao buns, tasty homemade noodles and various other little dishes from the grill, the Taiwanese fried chicken served with hot sauce is a must, the spiced butter scallops were melt in the mouth and the choice of buns (we had the chicken nugget bao with hot sauce and the Sichuan braised pork with peanut powder) didn’t disappoint either!

The staff here are lovely too, fun, very helpful, and always happy to make recommendations, if you can’t make up your mind and the bonus is that the menu is not too overwhelming and the choices are all a handy bite size, so you can mix and match as many as you like

Be prepared to que, if you go at a bust time, but don’t worry, it’s well worth the wait, if you have too!

Super affordable with a cool vibe (check out their wall posters) and all in the heart of wonderful Borough Market.
