Unit 102, hicce x Wolf & Badger, Stable Street, London N1C 4
hicce (apparently pronounced ‘ee-chay’) is a wonderfully bright, light breath of fresh air kind of venue, found on the first floor of the fantastic and ubercool Coal Drops Yard in Kings Cross footprint.
With its streamlined, chic interiors, warehouse sized space and very welcoming staff, your meal at Hicce will be a delight (we loved it!)
The kitchen offers wood-fired, grilled, steamed and smoked delights giving that home-cooked type of vibe (which we really love at the moment!)
There’s a wide range of delicious sharing plate and gorgeous flavour-some breads (the rye & sweet beer bread were amazing) and a stunning selection of delicious cheeses.
The mixed charcuterie was filled with lots of tasty options and their selection of fish, vegetable and meat dishes were hard to choose from, oh & try the mini jacket potatoes with Miso, they were mouth wateringly good! and the octopus with seaweed and fennel just transported us away onto a cool meditreaanian holiday and If your into dessert, the crème caramel with condensed milk was a sweet, sweet sensation.
The bar offers various London craft beers, largers, biodynamic and organic wines and a wide selection of classic cocktails, and mocktails (yum)
A great place to stagger your food and drink, take in the atmosphere and kick back until your ready to leave, we were literally the last ones to leave and we didn’t feel any pressure atall to vacate, they just turned the lights off and locked up as we left, wishing us well
Loved It! Go!
