The Lansdowne

90 Gloucester Avenue, Camden Town, London NW1 8HX

This light, bright vibrant local gastro pub will not disappoint, it’s been modernised but still retains a hint of tradition.

Just minutes from the very quaint Primrose Hill enclave, it fits in perfectly, relaxed, serving great food options and a great range of beers, wines and cocktails!

Food comes with a slight Mediterranean feel such as the Spanish red pepper stew or the delicious pappardelle with wild boar meatballs but not all food options are Mediterranean, such as the beautifully subtle roast cod and we went for the, the delicious Giant Scotch Egg with salad and pickle, crispy tempura vegetables and the tasty seared Squid with wild flowers and padron peppers and the even do a very wide range of great looking Pizzas, some with quite unusual toppings!.

Most wine choices come by the glass or carafe, there’s also a good selection of real ales (kept on rotation) and on occasion there’s even some live music.

Great location, great vibe and great choice of food and drink, seasoned pros at work!
