500 Degrees

153 A Dulwich Rd, London SE24 0NG

500 degrees seem to have stuck whole-heartedly to the art of traditional pizza making, using traditional methods, recipes and the best available ingredients with you as their main goal in pleasing.

Apparently the name comes from the heat the traditional wood fired oven reaches (500 degrees C) making for perfectly cooked traditional Italian pizza.

With a complete focus on serving authentic Neapolitan pizza and  the majority of the ingredients coming directly from Italy, there’s not a lot that can go wrong here, the restaurant is cosy, the staff super-friendly and the pizzas were really, really good, Oh and the Italian sourced Prosecco was really light, fresh and reasonably priced as well.

In addition to the choice of either a red or white based Pizza, there was also a wide selection of delicious fresh salad choices and hearty calzones and it’s ‘always’ a good sign to see steady stream of Italian customers enjoying the menu choices too/

You will also find 500 degrees sister restaurants in Beckenham, Croydon, Crystal Palace, Dagenham & Brixton too, it’s a very South London affair.
