52 Wilton Way, London E8 1BS
Another very comfortable and cosy supper club-type local restaurant offering set in the heart of London’s, Borough of Hackney.
The contemporary, colourful and unusual menu consists of a set four-course dinner (with an extra two complimentary additions added during the course of the meal) and which should you choose to do so, you can select their recommendations on individual wines that accompany each course, however, this is not obligatory.
Apparently the head chef is an ex-Dinner by Heston employee and he served up a treat in every dish, the portions are not big but each course is action packed with a huge variety of elements and all bursting with super tasty and unusual flavours
This totally Modern British menu (with a subtle Asian twist) offers mini pieces of edible art that will have the whole table cooing upon the arrival of each individual dish.
The menu changes weekly (and we believe the kitchen hasn't repeated a dish on the ever changing menu in over a year) and luckily we manage to get the Pidgin dish which was completely delicious.
Pretty candle lit venue (super fun titchy rest room) friendly staff and ‘exceptional food’ it’s a winner in our eyes.
