77 Berwick Street, Soho, London W1F 8TH
Food from Jerusalem cooked in a tabun oven (traditional clay oven) has arrived in Soho and it was worth the wait.
Serving authentic Palestinian street food dishes, Tabun Kitchen is here to tell the Palestinian food story loud and clear and its really worth listening.
We went for the Jerusalem feast menu, which covered most dishes and we were not disappointed, from the generation helping of homemade freshly baked bread (baked daily in the traditional Middle Eastern clay ) spicy olives, creamy hummus, moutabal, falafel, mannaeesh, fatet jaj chicken and Lamb Makloubeh, we went home very happy.
There’s also all the classics to add should you wish, fried halloumi, creamy harissa and lots of spicy chili additions. Tabun Kitchen offers classic Middle eastern dishes to a very high standard that will knock your hand knitted camel socks off.
