The Half Moon Herne Hill

10 Half Moon Lane, London, SE24 9HU

Finally the refurbishment is complete and it was definitely worth the wait! The final look of this Grade II-listed hotel is just stunningly from the bar, to the lounge, the restaurant and both the front and back gardens, the makeover is exceptional.

Classic charm with a modern sophisticated boutique vibe. The bar feels traditional and the restaurant light & contemporary and the garden, with its outside bar, is just relaxing and beautiful at the same time. This re-worked hotel, bar & restaurant offers lashings elegance, style and really good food and is perfect for just a regular work night or for that special occasion alike.

The hotel offers “12 brand new bespoke bedrooms, each uniquely designed to capture the perfect blend of contemporary style and comfort”

From the huge delicious breakfast choices (offering everything you can imagine) to its traditional but modern pub lunch dining, you will be spoilt for choice and the dinner menu was just perfect, offering (good sized) fresh fish dishes, superb meat plates and a choice of beautiful homemade desserts (the lemon tart was just exquisite) and from the bar enjoy a wide selection of real ales, local craft beers and top class world wines.

The Half Moon has been closed too long (since 2013) but now it’s back and so worth a visit, whether you want to just hang out and read the paper with a coffee in snug, grab a quick pint or wine in the bar or eat in its relaxing and welcoming restaurant space, it’s all there and you won’t be disappointed.

Welcome back HM, you were missed.
