Stylish Scandinavian simplicity (Danish) complements the Japanese minimalist interiors, a match made in heaven.

Sticks‘n’Sushi offers a wide, interesting and delicious selection of sushi, sashimi & sizzling yakitori sticks. Don’t worry if you can make your mind up or are not fully aware of the different types of Japanese cuisine, there’s a beautifully presented, photographic menu-book that identifies everything on offer in glorious technicolour (which was a really great help).

The first Sticks‘n’Sushi  fusion restaurant opened in Copenhagen to rave reviews, hence its little sibling winging its way over to London Town.

Try the warm Sake, not only presented beautifully in a stunning earth and ware pot but it tasted delish too. The food was bursting with fresh flavours too, from the roasted avocado (again beautifully presented) to the sushi selection platter and the ‘Man Plate’ of meaty yakitori sticks accompanied by a delicious sinus clearing Japanese wasabi sauce. The dessert selection was also interesting offering the likes of yuzu sorbet with orange or lemon pearls & lime to name but a few.

A good selection of wine, beer, Japanese-inspired cocktails and delicious teas all added to this very positive dining out experience.

Other Sticks’n’Sushi branches can be found in Canary Wharf, Wimbledon, Greenwich and Cambridge.
