Ya Hala

432 Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, London SW9 8LG

The first Lebanese restaurant to hit Brixton and it was definitely worth the wait! Following the success of their original restaurant in Paddington, Ya Hala has now arrived to conquer Brixton too.

Apparently "Ya Hala" means "we welcome you." In Lebanese and they surely did that. With its family's feel, friendly, helpful staff and wide selection of delicious Lebanese cuisine, all prepared with the freshest of ingredients, Ya Hala hit the spot.

From the generous portions of mixed mezzes, köfte, shawarmas, falafel, lavish banquets or special baked delicacies, you won’t leave here hungry, only full and very contented.

Ya Hala is alcohol free, however, their choices of traditional Lebanese beverages were really satisfying, from their Lebanese sodas to their lemonade with orange blossom water, homemade juices and traditional yogurt drinks you don’t even miss the alcohol.

More café than restaurant, its buzzy and its busy and you could almost visualise yourself sat in downtown Beirut, just maybe!

Take away orders are also available.
