Percy & Founders

1 Pearson Square, Fitzrovia, London W1W 7EY

Percy & Founders is a great little find in a quiet corner of Fitzrovia (just off Oxford Street in London’s West End).

Name after the founders of the Middlesex Hospital from 1755, where this fabulous restaurant now sits and still reveals snippets of what was once the old hospital building.

Contemporary but simple chairs and tables blend in with the historic surroundings that are wonderfully topped off with some fascinating and intriguing artwork that is liberally spread around the whole space.

Open all day P&Fs offers everything from breakfast to dinner, offering simple British and modern European food all served to the highest of standards. Delicious crispy squid, various choices of beautiful British Steaks, Wagyu beef burger twists and plump quality poultry all made the meal a delight.

With a smart-casual feel, the atmosphere is relaxed, gentle modern tunes play along as you dine and the staff are at your beck and call but not too overwhelming, friendly and polite and the outdoor terraces are generously proportioned (and heated if need be) and overlook the beautiful and original old hospital chapel, with its beautiful stained glass windows. We really enjoyed it and we think you will too.

If you like P&F then also have two sister sites, the Thomas Cubitt in Belgravia and The Orange in Pimlico.
