Hakkasan

8 Hanway Place, London W1T 1HD

Deservedly a Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant in Soho, that serves top quality Chinese food that will not leave you disappointed, everyone knows Hakkasan and that’s probably down to their amazing menu choices, outstanding flavours and its excellent concepts, all in all a truly wonderful experience.

The restaurant space conjures up the feel of an exclusive and plush traditional Chinese establishment, dotted with traditional Chinese screens and rooms sectioned off by beautifully crafted and shaped dark wood panelling that doesn’t make it feel austere, it’s stylish design still stands the test of time, even after its many years out on the scene.

The Hakkasan menu incorporates both Chinese and Cantonese influences, offering both modern and authentic dishes at their very best. There’s a wide selection of top notch food on offer such as beautifully presented Dim Sum, stunning crispy duck, tasty crabmeat wraps and sublime sea bass, everything is cooked, tastes and served to perfection and the dessert was like a piece of edible art, just stunning!

There’s also a very long and sophisticated bar (16-metres) where you can relax with a drink before or after dinner and it serves some amazing award winning Asian inspired cocktails that are unique to Hakkasan, their famous Hakkasini is a must try!

There’s a reason why Hakkasan has lasted a lot longer on the scene than a lot of its peers that have come and gone and the main reason is the food, we decided on the taster menu, which was unquestionably the right decision (and which we would highly recommend) every single dish on that menu we did not want to end, so go on, treat yourself, or someone else, it’s so worth it and so are you!
