Zoe's Ghana Kitchen

49 Brixton Station Road, London SW9 8PQ

Zoë’s Ghana Kitchen is situated on one of the upper floors of Pop Brixton’s container food Park, its cute, its cosy and it’s comfortable, oh and the food is ‘really’ great too.

If you like something a little bit different, then this is the place for you, there’s only approx. 5 tables (inside) and approx. 5 outside on the terrace but who cares when you’ve tasted what Zoe has to offer, you will be back.

The menu offers a twist on classic Ghanaian food with traditional Ghanaian beers on offer too and the kitchen is wide open, so you can watch the chefs at work and your dinner being prepared.

If we didn’t say it’s laid-back, then we would be doing it an injustice, that’s what it’s all about here, chilling and eating really good food and that’s exactly what we did, oh yeah.

The street food-themed menu enables you to taste a variety of Ghanaian flavours, its 90% gluten free too apparently and it caters for vegans and vegetarians alike, we heard the spiced bean stew, served with plantain, is a huge favourite, however, we went for Zoe’s Jollof Spiced fried Chicken, marinated in Zoe’s ‘secret recipe’ and dipped buttermilk, it was Deeeelicious! And it was a yes from us!

If you’re out for a pre-gig drink or a full on dinner, Zoes will keep you happy either way, she knows how to do it and she does it right.

So, If you have to wait for a table, just do it, it’s worth it, trust us!
