Lemonia

89 Regent's Park Road, London NW1 8UY

Situated on the perimeter of the gorgeous Regents Park, in North London and in the quaint (and partially hidden) posh little neighbourhood village and celebrity haunt of choice, Primrose Hill.

Lemonia does what any Greek-Cypriot taverna should do, great traditional dishes executed really well, from souvlaki, mezédes and charcoal grills to seafood selections, taverna classics and of course, unlimited bottles of their glistening Metaxa!

Come rain or shine the rustic, glass roofed and plant-filled conservatory will fill you with memories from that Greek getaway from times gone by and transport you back, even just for one sitting.

The traditionally clad waiters will make you smile with their brisk mannerisms and jovial grins. Perfect for those who want to catch up with friends or family over a hearty lunch or a romantic date over a relaxed dinner, the no frills menu is everything you would expect from a traditional Mediterranean taverna, it will fill you up and send you on your way, happy and contented.

Lemonia has been around in Primrose Hill for more than 30 years and will probably be there in another 30, good food at good prices and all much cheaper than a flight to Athens.
