67 Streatham Hill, London SW2 4TX

A great little independent Streatham neighbourhood restaurant and bar, serving modern British food from their perfectly proportioned menu.

A stylish layout, friendly neighbourhood staff and a good selection of background music, Hood is a local treat and probably one of the coolest venues in the surrounding area

Were told that all food is locally sourced and seasonal with some influences from the continent and all food can be accompanied by a selection of local beers or European wines of your choice.

Run by a brother and sister team, which may have something to do with its feel, comfortable, homely (in a young fresh way) and the sort of place you might come back to again and again.

A nice little touch is the provenance map on the restaurant wall showing guests where the key ingredients and drinks served, come from all adding to the transparency of products.

Lunch and dinner menus are available with menus also catering for gluten-free, dairy-free and other specialised dietary requirements.
