Radisson Blu Edwardian, Mercer Street, 20 Mercer St, London WC2H 9HD
We were lucky enough to attend the restaurants soft launch week, because this place was exceptional, a gorgeous fresh, airy and cool space with a deserved buzz in the air and right in the heart of Covent Garden (within Seven Dials). Monmouth Kitchen is located in the beautifully revamped Mercer Street Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel.
Serving an amazing combination of both authentic Italian and modern Peruvian cuisines, they certainly pulled it off, the food was stunning, we tried almost every dish on the menu and not one of them disappointed (mini seafood tacos, smoked lamb cutlets with red anticucho and the chocolate clientele spring rolls will all be tried again!) delicious!
The In-house DJ spinning relaxed but funky tunes was a fantastic addition to the night.
Apparently led by ex-Nobu head of private dining Amir Jati (which says it all) this was a fantastic experience from start to finish, the service was exceptional, the staff were extremely polite and always ready to help and the venue was classy, in fact the whole experience was totally exceptional.
And don’t forget, you can’t go to Peru without trying the Pisco, well for starters anyway but don’t stop there!
We would highly recommend this place, beautiful, simplistic interiors, amazing food, first class/world class service and right in the heart of town, A MUST!
