The Palomar

34 Rupert St, London W1D 6DN

10/10 for something with a difference. This is where modern-day Jerusalem meets classic Japanese techniques, with selection of North African flavours! Yes, sounds eclectic, well it is but in a very good way.

Situated in Chinatown (yes work that one out?) the interiors have a cool 1930s vibe, there is raw bar up front which offers Moroccan oysters and mixed ceviche (delicious)

The dining room at the back/side serves everything from Tunisian to Italian flavours, so yes, the work is eclectic, but we liked eclectic, a lot! A cool little space decked with mosaic floor tiles, great atmosphere and a selection of amazing and interesting teas at the same time.

If you can grab a table, try it, there’s something for everyone.

Fabulous (we loved it)
