Mere puiestee 1, 10111 Tallinn, Estonia
A totally unique and fun-filled Asian-fusion restaurant in a large beautiful traditional wooden building (originally built as a pharmacy 150 years ago!) & right in the heart of Tallinn, not to be missed.
With extremely quirky designer interiors and novel furniture in every room (even in the stair wells!) there is something cool & kitsch to feast your eyes on in every corner, there’s even a large bubbling fish tank with beautiful & unusual exotic fish floating around in it, oh & an original Barbie doll in there with the fish, of course!
Don’t forget to look up! The extravagant kitsch chandelier complete with human arms sprouting from it and the baroque tongue-in-cheek inspired ceiling fresco in the main dining room depicting an array of world famous characters will also keep you very busy all night, trying to identify all of the many colourful and famous faces adorning it!
Every single course was exceptional too, the spicy calamari, trio of mixed spring rolls and the dim-sum were all top notch, we also decided to try their house special Pad-Thai and their Seafood Green Curry were both exceptional in both presentation and flavour, even the steamed coconut rice was extra special!
Our dinner was accompanied by delicious OTT Mocktails, which seemed only right! Vivid in colour, extravagant in presentation and explosive in flavour.
All in all we loved Tai Boh and we think you will too, a trip to Tallinn wouldn’t be the same without a ‘fabulous’ meal in the ‘fabulous’ Tai Boh.
The food, the ambience, the décor, the service and the immaculate attention from the staff were all ‘excellent’
Little tip: book ahead, you will be disappointed if you don’t get in!.
