Agios Sostis Beach, 84600 Mykonos, Greece
Adorable, secluded little piece of traditional Greek heaven, that’s well worth the trek (assessable by Boat, Scooter, Car or Quad bike).
Kiki’s Tavern is a gorgeous ‘little’ restaurant that visitors travel across the island just to eat here, so be ware its popular so expect to wait a well-worth it hour to finally bag your table but do not fret, the lovely owner (Vasilis) will apply you with free local rose wine or water while you wait patiently for your table.
Situated tucked away behind the cute little Agios Sostis church and right in front of a tiny yet beautiful beach, offering the perfect view whilst you eat Kikis delicious local dishes.
From the fresh (caught that day!) seafood and local vegetables to the local meat dishes cooked perfectly upon their own outdoor charcoal barbecue you will not be disappointed and understand completely why guests are happy to que for over 1.5 hours plus just to sample their local delights
A small rustic courtyard filled with tiny little tables and overhanging trees with views to die for of the surrounding nature and small secluded bay will happily accommodate you.
The staff are really lovely, friendly and always happy to accommodate their guests, whatever the request (within reason) we were even taken into the kitchen and each salad was described in detail , ingredient by ingredient to help you choose which of the 10 salads to were going to plummet for!
Kikis is a kind of well know secret but luckily we knew about it and now do you, if you don’t put yourself out for Kikis whilst in Mykonos, then were afraid you may live to regret it!!
One word, gorgeous! Highly recommended by www.ificould.co.uk
