Fjäderholmarnas Krog 100 05 Stockholm, Sweden
This is where Stockholm’s internationally recognised & stunning archipelago starts and just a very short 20-minute boat trip from central Stockholm.
Only open during the long hot Swedish summer months and then again especially for the Christmas (julbord) buffet this lovely little restaurant has views to die for.
It’s minimal, bright, white (of course!) and tasteful, words that become common place whilst dining in Scandinavian establishments (and that’s a good thing!) and located just a short walk from the main island harbour dock.
The views across the archipelago are its star attraction but the food is also top-notch, including the delicious handmade Swedish meatballs with potatas mousse, the freshly line caught fish choices (including Seafood) and the amazingly lean cuts of meat (beef & pork) all adding to making this lunch just adorable
Its elegant and chic, a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for and the service was impeccable.
Only accessible by array the boats that depart for the archipelago from Strandvägen and Slussen, during the summer months.
A real treat and a must if you fancy a little day trip out to the archipelago that’s not too far!
