7 Rue Simon Varsi, 20169 Bonifacio, France
Some might say (including ificould) one of the cutest and cosiest little restaurants to adorn the adorable Bonifacio old town lanes!
With its amazing location, alternative choice of seating space (various outbuildings make up the restaurants dining areas) and it’s simple but effective menu, you are certain to enjoy your experience.
The service was fun and effective and the food was of good quality, with many decent choices ranging from a wide selection of home-baked pizza’s (There’s an additional pizzeria section covering four individual rooms casually scattered across the tiny little lane that the restaurant sits in) there was luxurious salads, warm goat cheese, fresh grilled fish, grilled meats, delicious local pancetta, top of the range linguine with st-pierre fillets, pata dishes and of course their exquisite saffron Corsican mussels.
As part of the restaurants additional little outbuildings, a special one is their panoramic room (that you can request to be seated in) and apparently located in one of the oldest houses in Bonifacio, suspended above the cliff tops with fantastic views across the sea towards Sardinia (just 9 miles away across the bay) another wonderful addition to a really wonderful restaurant.
