Port de plaisance 89, quai Jérôme-Comparetti, 20169 Bonifacio
Sat in a perfect location overlooking the beautiful harbour, the outdoor terrace section of this stylish restaurant just has it! There’s quite a few of these restaurants to choose from just skimming the harbour stretch but Dorsia just seem to stand out by having its own individual personality in both interiors and menu options.
With cool lighting, natural woods and unique designer furniture in abundance, the atmosphere is modern, light, bright and inviting and the menu offers a wide combination of both local and international choices and this particular season there’s even a special menu section on Ceviche (apparently designed and implemented by the "cevicheman" himself José Maria Murga Brescia all the way from Peru) which makes it even harder to make your choice!
The whole freshly caught local grilled fish was a delight, light in texture and bursting with fresh flavours, the steaks were as expected, succulent and juicy and the starter selections just made it hard to choose from (we finally opted for the fresh Octopus with Lime and the local crab, both good choices).
The al fresco bar area gets quite busy in the evenings (but don’t worry, it’s quite separate from the restaurant terrace area) with a hip, young crowd sipping on aperitifs and cocktails and the ideally located restaurant makes it a perfect place to start your evening off with a great dinner before hitting the local bars just within a stone’s throw.
The terrace is perfect for people (and yacht watching) or just kicking back and admiring the stunning harbour view whist tucking in to a wonderfully prepared and delicious local meal.
