Majong

1200 106, R. da Atalaia 3, Portugal

Set in the heart of the Bairro Alto, we just happened to stumble across but we really like what we saw.

With a fabulous interior, boho-chic, slightly dark in mood (giant sized model insects hover above the bar!) that just surrounds you as you sip on one (or three) of their many interesting and diverse cocktail options (there beers and wine also).

DJ-driven soundtracks beat out cool tunes, but not so loud as to stop you from chatting! Green cabbage-shaped lamp shades hang in little bunches scattered around the ceiling (possibly the food source for the insects!) the walls are all a deep-red, seating is old retro school chairs and all of the little tables are candlelit throughout, adding to the mysterious but warm and welcoming atmosphere spilling out throughout the space

A favourite of avant-garde crowd were told, but open to all and there was a really nice mix of people hanging out whilst we were there but please note, it gets really rammed After 11pm with smoking allowed in doors.

Great bar to hang out, right in the heart of all of the action.
