Cafe Cocoà

Via Altabella, 14/a, 40100 Bologna, Italy

Situated in a cosy little side alley, in the centre of Bologna, this bright open restaurant/cafe, terrace up front and opera music blasting out is the perfect place to hang out and the hippest place in town (apparently).

A gay and straight friendly venue serving cool cocktails, all day & night long with a wide selection of free salad at the bar and original art to buy  scattered all over the walls, what’s not to like, this place was busy with locals and seemed very popular on both occasions we attended.

Their full menu offers a wide selection of veggie salads & couscous, options, pasta, pastries and freshly baked breads and the atmosphere is up with an eclectic mix of artists from Dame Shirley Bassey to Beyoncé all occupying the airwaves on rotation.

A great patch to people watch whilst working your way through the extensive cocktail menu.
