Caffe Peru

Via di Monserrato, 46, 00186 Roma

A great little find tucked away down a lovely little lane and seems to be where the cool city dweller choose to hang out. Lovely  little resto/bar/tabacchi  right next door to each other and both part of the same ownership.

The bar section has a fun retro/modern vibe with an open space inside to hang by the bar or stools (and old barrels) scattered about outside, so you can form your own little groups by moving them around, the people were friendly and all very chatty and the drink menu was vast! Have what you want and as many as you want, the choices were there for the picking and the Aperol Spritz is still going strong! and as the night went on, more and more locals arrived, the pace got faster and the vibe got more lively.

The restaurant directly served up really simple but delicious small dishes and had seating indoors, however, the whole of the front of the restaurant was wide open creating the feeling of the outside inside of al fresco. Give it a try and we guarantee you will like it and if you have time you will go back, we did a few times! Great!
