Bacaro

47 Castle St, Liverpool L2 9UB

This stylish and cosy restaurant with a distinctive and urban feel serves a pleasing array of small Mediterranean plates and dishes that you can mix and match to create a delicious meal of your own choice.

There’s also an attractive ‘Long’ Campari bar (currently the only one in Liverpool) offering a wide range of cocktails, Aperol Spritz, Bellini’s, unusual Italian wines and of course the Campari.

From fritto misto to mini pizzettes, all of the dishes were very tasty, exciting and moorish, we know because we sampled all of the small lunch dishes that were on offer! The charcuterie boards, seafood dishes, cichetti and the risotto were all gorgeous and as for the dessert classics, such as the limoncello cheesecake, we couldn’t fault it, each and every dish was as good as the last, leaving us ‘nicely’ full and contented.
