Liverpool Bar & Grill

Halifax House, Brunswick St, Liverpool L2 0UU

One of our regular haunts when visiting Liverpool, this very sleek restaurant in a very grand former banking house, offers a huge open space with lots of atmosphere that doesn’t feel too empty, in part due to the clever design that slims the space by using two floating walls of glass wine chillers (and yes, you can buy from the fantastic selection they have on offer or just have a cocktail). Behind either side of the wine chillers walls lies a comfortable and cosy restaurant serving a comprehensive and top quality brasserie-style menu even specialising in local British steaks.

The restaurant and grill is located in Halifax House, right in the heart of the busy commercial district of Liverpool, surrounded by other spectacular historical buildings which sum up Liverpool’s rich sea-farer history and glamorous sea-port image from times gone by. This venue creates a fantastic impression as soon as guests walk through the former old banking hall doors and into the main space that doesn’t scrimp on wow factor.
